Please help with the plug in install

Im trying to install the openvino ai plug in on linux and had to buy more internet data today as the installation process keeps failing and every time i try to run it. it ends up redownloading gigabites upon gigabites of previously downloaded data.

first off huggingface was trowing up errors and lately iv been getting port 443 time out errors.

" HTTPSConnectionPool(host='cdn-lfs-us-1.huggingface.co', port=443): Read timed out. Trying to resume download... "

So my question is, is there a way for me to save what i have already downloaded if there is a time out and how can i avoid the installation process from timing out.

Of the model list i managed to successfully install Square (512x512) and Portrait however gimp did not display any stable diffucion options.

So which of the models are required at a bare minimum for gimp to display the openvino options.

Just pushed a workaround for some users facing issues while downloading from HF (You might still see error messages regarding connection issue, but ignore it as this time it will keep trying to download until its successful) . Please do a fresh clone and try again. Thanks.

Seems to be hitting a snage on quite a nuumber of time out errors. The first two model plugins downloaded successfuly. its now on the inpainting model.

Did the models get downloaded finally ? Yes you will still see the connection errors but it will retry to download until it succeeds.

Can you check the openvino-ai-plugins-gimp\weights folder in the home directory for all the successful model downloads?. Also did you do a fresh clone of the repo?

Im not sure what the entire file size of the plugins are once downloaded. Obviously what im learning from you here is that there is a home folder called "openvino-ai-plugins-gimp/weights" (which currently measures 23.9 GB) and that there is also a plug in folder called "gimpenv3" (which currently measures 12.2 GB) created during the installation process.

Would it be possible to have these folder structures hosted as a complete structure somewhere on github or file shared somewhere as a torrent? (as this seems to be the main issue i am facing.)

On our side gimpenv3 (this the folder that has all the python packages installed which is required by the plugin) is around 5 GB on Linux and 1.5 GB on windows. Regarding the models folder we recommend to download only the ones you wish to use to reduce the foot print if space is a constraint. Closing this issue for now.

Oh I didn't know you had issues with plugin install. You should see the plugin show-up regardless of any models downloaded or not.
