Installer not working (Error sending data: (12030) ) #129

i got the error message: Error sending data: (12030) The connection with the server was terminated abnormally

The 3.5.0 version just installed fine for me on W10 (64-bit)

i'm using windows 11 and yes I can access that link on my browser

Perhaps you can try again? At the download step, does the download appear to make any progress, or is the failure immediate?

I'm also on Windows 11. And the download fails for me with this exact error message. The link works fine in the browser.

I suspect that it is a local issue somehow, like a ping request is being blocked via firewall or something going on with outbound traffic requests on Windows client side. It's being blocked by the OS as the error is immediate.

I too am getting this message. Win11 64bit. For both Audacity 3.5.0 and 3.5.1
