Noise suppression not doing anything #216

Hello! Using the latest release (Audacity-win-v3.5.1-R2.2-64bit) and noticing that noise suppression doesn't seem to do anything anymore. Before it did remove background noise like magic, I even used lower amounts in the custom settings. But using it in the last two weeks I notice the background noise is there and the noise suppression isn't doing anything even on 100. Haven't tried the new 3rd option (denseunetII) yet but the first two (deepfilternet) have no effect,

Hi @Mr-Zxxxxxx,

Can you give more details? I understand that the 'after' case is the latest release -- what were you using 'before'?

If there is a noisy audio sample that you can share, we can test it on our side as well.

Hey, sorry for the late response! The difference wasn't between releases, I felt it when I was using Audacity 3.5.0 with OpenVINO modules. At first the noise supression worked really well and cleaned almost everything except for speech. But without changing anything, without any updates or anything I felt it was removing less and less noise than before. I updated to v3.5.1(R2.2) but again still does clean up some noises but leaves some in. Here is a sample to check: https://mega.nz/folder/LlpmgJrb#5IDtGFpuK36ci3QUxjq34w Sometimes it works great, but in this case deepfilternet2 and 3 always leave some noise, while denseunet-II cleans up better (but takes about twice the time of the recording to clean it up - about 6 hours to clean a 3 hour recording).
