Some logs (like IIS, FMS, Wowza) have a comment line containing the columns names. It may be used to detect it automatically, instead of configuring a columns list in conf.yaml.

Another approach is to detect the log file format by analyzing the pattern of the first content line. Ex: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/ucgi/~sret1/analog/olddocs.pl?version=3.11&file=logfile.html
