@jundl77 we just need a domain ;)
yes I know :P
So I looked at a couple options for the mail server, now that we have a domain. We could use a hosting service obviously, but I have not found anything that I really liked. Google App Engine offers one, but only with 1 email to give out, which is not what we want I think. However I did find a thing called DeepOfix which is pretty much a linux mail server OS that runs right out of the box! The inconvenience is that it has to run on a computer with port forwarding etc. which sucks a bit. But from the reviews it seems just fine for a "home business" which could describe our situation. I'll keep looking for a hosting service though, as that is still the easiest. Yet free hosting services are not easy to find haha. Anyway @LeanderK what do you think?
i don't know about email-hosting :D but (right now) email doesn't need much, so i don't think the port-forewarding solution is a problem
Well the issue is that I cannot port forward so I hope you can :D and we would need another computer (raspberry-pi? ;) )
I can not port-forward -.- we have this shitty router from our internet provider

Ah well maybe I can set it up at my grandma's as well haha:D
It would still be cool to get this going sooner or later, lets work on it.
i would tackle it with the cloud...because for both we have to choose a hosting service.
This is for waaaaaay in the future when we have the website up and running, but then we should make a mail server so that 1. we can have @intellimate.com mail addresses which is more professional looking, and 2. so that the mail addOn can use that mail server and does not have to defer to google like it does now
