It is too easy to lose track of what time period you are looking at right now, and there are very limited/no use cases where a weekview would be too large and a dayview would be too small.
Perhaps something like Day-Three Days-Week-Two weeks-Month-Period-Year?
Clearly display what the time range is! "This week", "Last month", etc.
Could still keep slider mechanic, just make it work in steps.
