Address errors + prettify index.html #167

Addresses validation errors:
- missing <!DOCTYPE>
- missing <title>
- missing lang attribute in <html>
- missing alt attribute in <img> (for logo)
- unnecessary type attribute in two <script>s
Applies format rules to the document's markup
