@fractaldragonflies, please check my modifications, and how I handled the ... problem.

I also unique-sorted the profiles for Spanish, Portuguese, etc., as they had duplicates. Note also that I had to replace uu by u-long, and you used the wrong "g" in the profiles for Spanish, Portuguese, etc., which is automatically corrected, but this is still not elegant and can lead to errors.
