GPS - hard to fix position, no sat´s on copilot, loses position often

GPS is really dificult to get a position and it loses often the sat fix even in open space.

On Copilot Live 8, in the gps satelite menu no bar apears on any satelite, but it fixes it position, but in a relatively poor way...

Can it be that yhe rom has the wrong libs on it? Not the original from HTC?

I wasn't aware GPS was even working yet, doesn't seem to work here. Just to clarify, you get a gps signal in Google Maps?

Yes it works. Loses the position a lot... In copilot live 8.

In the gmaps i get a decent position, 3/5 meters...

I came from the Trip's rom without full wipe... Can be because of that some of the libs could stay on...

If you didn't wipe data then that's why GPS works for you. When wiping data and flashing the rom gps doesn't work - the gps drivers can't create/access files on the data partition properly.

This is assuming gps works for you in the first place :/ It's never worked for me with CM9 yet

Turns out I was being a fool and just have a poor GPS reception in my house ;) Apologies. Looks like this fix is working to improve the GPS accuracy, would you like to submit a pull request?

But Location notification still not appears. Strange. But, if install this ROM over Trip's 12 - notification works well.

Yes. GPS ok. But icon not shows.

UPD: Full wipe, Build 40, LED fix, NFC fix, GPS fix.

okay fix comes from tgascoigne on xda-developers http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27102004&postcount=577

the adb command didn't work for me (maybe I did sth. wrong), but just use root explorer to create the needed folders. GPS works with GPS icon in status bar after reboot
