I love the design, especially with the second color scheme, but until I read your messages on the group I wasn't aware of the 'b' and 'g' in the logo, it seemed like just an 'x'. Is there some way to make the letters clearer? and also maybe some way to fix the lack of symmetry between the g's bottom curve and b's top line?

+1 to what @riyasoganii said - now I'm told, I can see the BG, but I didn't originally spot it :) it's still pretty awesome though - loving the DNA helix X!

@tinycosmos I saw a bit of this idea in one of your sketches, I thought it would turn out really cool so I made a quick mockup of it. Maybe we could work in one of these directions now? (Note the blue 'b' and the green 'g' xD)

Hey all! I was excited about this so I sent it around the team - our boss (who is a biologist, unlike me) noticed this:

Nice - one tiny point, the direction of the helix is not correct for DNA - it would have to cross the other way...

(I think this is referring to the blue/green one)

Hi everyone!! @tinycosmos I liked the idea of bluegenes logo. Logos presented by @tinycosmos @riyasoganii @ss200598 are awsome. I would like to suggest blend of all of them. Here's my suggestion. we can make the theme of curl of 'b' and 'g' same as the helix too. I don't have much editing skills , so just figuring out how to do it.

Hey everybody, I came up with this idea thinking about something not so related to but still gathering some core elements. I used a tone of blue that is from the Intermine's green triad and the darker blue is a complementary color of that blue.
