The region example does not work for pombe. Can we change it for an example that works (let me know if I can do this)

O the format is I:100-100000

But - this is the feature that shows "gene flanking region" It is difficult to understand what the results refer to.

I expected to be able to plainly access the features in a region? Is that possible? Can we turn off the "flanking region" malarky? There aren't features as such.

Initially it would help if just "Gene" was selected by default in the "Features to include" section.

It was suppressed from the search (#49) but maybe they are still in the database?

Actions

  1. Don't load "gene flanking region"
  2. Use a chromosome range and syntax that applied to fission yeast (use I:1-3000000) (the chromosome is a Roman numeral)
  3. Default selection to 'gene"

For the demo I will avoid this tab. I had not looked at this before.
