Internal Server Error #73

Using both these service URLs (separate attempts) when programmatically connecting to PombeMine, https://pombemine.rahtiapp.fi/pombemine/service or https://www.pombase.org/pombemine, I am able to connect to the server. However, any subsequent attempt at query building outputs this error message: intermine.errors.WebserviceError: [Errno Internal server error] 500:

Similarly, when I tried to use PombeMine through its website, upon entering the site, I get these error messages seen below. Failed assets/fetch-templates from PombeMine. Please contact the maintainers of the InterMine instance. BlueGenes may work in reduced capacity. Failed assets/fetch-lists from PombeMine. Please contact the maintainers of the InterMine instance. BlueGenes may work in reduced capacity.

Kindly advise how to resolve this! I am also experiencing similar issues with FlyMine, so wonder if this is an umbrella issue with InterMine.

Hi.

We're very sorry but our funding and support for running PombeMine ended quite abruptly in October and it is unlikely to be available again.

We at PomBase are planning to implement an API with the same functionality as our Advanced Search. We hope that will be useful as a replacement for PombeMine for at least simple cases.

If you can let us know how you use PombeMine and what sort of queries you run, we will try to make that a priority. We may also be able to send you data files created from direct queries of our database, depending on what sort of queries you are need.

Hi Megan,

FlyMine should be fine again now - there was a huge IT failure at the University recently and this caused problems.

To double-check, is the IT failure at the University (for FlyMine) independent of @kimrutherford 's update regarding the funding ending (for PombeMine)?
