@BrittanyBunk , This is a set of volumes not an individual volume. Library records frequently have a record that represents the set as a whole. No, the editions should not be combined unless they are the same content.
@seabelis thanks for explaining. However, is this appropriate? That would mean that isbn's of multiple works are in one edition, which is going against how the OL is setup.
This relates to the larger issue of Open Library not representing whole-part relationships. It's a known issue.
@seabelis sounds great, but where exactly? Usually if something's closed, it's to lead people to where the solution in. I don't see it here yet.
https://openlibrary.org/books/OL24959858M/Addison-Wesley_mathematics looks like the bot went on overload with them.
Also I'm combining all the addison wesley mathematics books together. If they shouldn't, let me know, but I feel they should.
