Reading log carousels overflow on tablets

The reading log carousels in "My Books" overflow on tablets, or at least they do in the Firefox dev tools for iPad and Kindle.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use a tablet or the browser dev tools to replicate the tablet experience.
2. Go to https://openlibrary.org/people//books
3. Scroll down to the reading log carousels, and look to the right to see that they overflow their bounding box.

• Actual: The carousels overflow.
• Expected: The carousels do not overflow on a tablet.
