Whois update fails or is not trigered when a domain is added to auction list and removed from reserved list #2577

WHOIS update must be triggered when domain registration data is changed that includes adding and removing domain from the reserved and auction lists.

This has not happened for the domains recently removed from the reserved list and added to the auction list

for some of such domains there are error messages in the logs, but for most there's nothing

According to WHOIS it's not registered - meaning that it was removed from the reserved list and apparently whois was update for that change, but not for adding to the auction list

the same day at the same time 11891.ee is scheduled for auction, but this one still shows status "reserved"

vohmar commented 1 year ago

the whois update did not trigger for releasing the eng auc domains from the auction as well.

after regenerating the whole whois database whois data was correct.
