@rstaylor What IRIS version are you using? I wasn't able to reproduce this with an internal latest kit.

@rstaylor I pulled a 2023.2 community edition container and couldn't reproduce this with that either. Maybe your web server is cutting off websockets that have been inactive for 60 seconds?
I suspect the web server or something en route between you and the IRIS server.
Closing because this is very unlikely to be a bug in this extension
Type: Bug
In VSCode open an InterSystems Web Socket Terminal from the Terminal type drop down. Type any command (w $h) to verify the connection. Let the terminal sit for 60 seconds. The window will close with no warning.
When developing I need to back to code to make an adjustment before testing again. This can take longer than a minute. It would be beneficial to have the window stay open until I choose to close it. At least make the timeout duration configurable .
