SMB share not showing first file/folder when roots are shared

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Share a root folder (drive) in Windows
2. Configure SMB share with shared name
3. Open file in MPlayer from SMB share

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected would be to see all files or folders. First (by alphabet)
file/folder is missing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mplayer CE version 0.62, Windows XP SP2

Please provide any additional information below.
Sharing of folders which are not roots is showing full expected file list.
Problem only exists when sharing root folders.
If it makes a difference, all my folders are accessible only by specifying 
username/pass.

A small update on the issue:
Mostly I observed that the first folder by alphabet is missing. But in case of a
shared DVD drive (and a DVD loaded inside), VIDEO_TS folder is missing in 
MPlayer CE
share list, but AUDIO_TS folder is shown, so not 100% sure on the pattern which 
item
is misssing.

Same problem here. Just noticed it for the first time. 
The first folder on a root drive is missing indeed.

I've got a disk especially for video's. The first folder should be "Cabaret" 
but it's
not there!?! The same happens on a different drive, there should be a folder 
called
"Apps" but it doesn't show.

With the FTP support that has been added in 0.75 all folders will show 
correctly.

Tried with 0.75 and 0.62 and played around with the menu.conf but when going 
back to
the default menu config the issue is still there. The computer that is hosting 
the
files is running Windows 2003.

Hello,

I have same problem with SMB sharing (at least under WinXP SP3). When I enable 
direct sharing of DVD drive then MplayerCE shows only empty VIDEO_TS/ folder so 
I cannot play DVD videos that way. If I copy the whole DVD content including 
the VIDEO_TS/ folder on my harddrive and setup share to it then I can see the 
files under VIDEO_TS/ Looks like some smb problem...

BTW it is interesting that even WiiMC is having the same issue here so it may 
be related to some generic library that is used by both apps??
