mplayer freezes on icecast radio #372

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play radio for approx 20 minutes --> mplayer 0.70 / 0.72 freeze
2. Using Icecast2 / edcast for streaming; tried different codecs (ogg 
vorbis / mp3), different qualities.
3. mplayer freezes reproducably after approx. 25-26 MB transmitted. Other 
players (e.g. PC) do not show this effect.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not freezing - continue playing :-)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Wii @ 4.1E
Win PC for streaming running Vista, Icecast2 2.3.2, Edcast

try reproducing in new release, it hopefully is fixed.

I can reproduce the issue on 0.75. 

Also tried Shoutcast as server today --> Same issue.
