What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Booting MPlayer CE

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect MPlayer CE to load. Instead, I see "Loading MPlayer CE v0.75..."
and it freezes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.75 on 4.1U softmodded LU65 Wii. cIOS 249 rev14. cIOS 202.

Do you have a modchip?
No.

Please provide any additional information below.
It loaded just fine when I first installed it (0.72 I think) immediately
after softmodding my Wii. Please forgive me if I'm missing something
obvious. Anyway, I installed an outdated cIOS USB2
(http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CIOS_usb2) awhile ago. I think that may have been
when it stopped working, at least my friend who has much more experience
with Wii Homebrew than I thinks that's why. He seems to be under the
impression that the older USB2 cIOS that I installed overwrote my Wii's
native USB support. I deleted the cIOS 202 I just linked to using
AnyTitleDeleter and installed cIOS 202 from the downloads page on this
site, still I have the same problem. Previous versions of MPlayer CE do
not work. Thank you for your time.

This seems to be the issue that bushing talks about here:
http://hackmii.com/2009/08/timing-is-everything-the-case-of-the-unsoftmoddable-w
ii/

A fix should hopefully be out shortly but for now try deleting the cIOS and see
if
MPlayer runs without it installed.

I uninstalled cIOS 202 using AnyTitleDeleter and MPlayer CE 0.75 works fine now.

Thank you very much, also thank you for the very informative link. =)
