MPlayer CE 0.76 won't work, while every previous versions did and still do work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Homebrew Channel
2. Start Mplayer 0.76
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
On the screen stating "MPlayer CE 0.76 is loading...", nothing loads, 
wiimote stops working, the image stays the same for as long as I don't 
restart my Wii

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MPlayer CE 0.76, downloaded from homebrew browser, then deleted and 
redownloaded from wiibrew, it never worked.
Older versions work fine.

Do you have a modchip?
Nope

Please provide any additional information below.
Nothing much to say... I hope it's some small easy-to-fix bug!
