What steps will reproduce the problem?
Loading SMB share, opening folder within share directory and choosing
movie file, or choosing movie file directly from SMB directory
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting the precache to fill before analysing video stream and then
playing video file (as per DVD, USB and SD). Precache will either stay at
0.0% before trying to analyse stream, or will only reach 32.08% before
trying to analyse.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using Wii console model RVL-001 (Eur) with MPlayer version 0.76. PC system
is Windows 7 Ultimate edition (OEM).
Please provide any additional information below.
This does not seem to be a network issue, as I can connect between Wii and
the system. Indeed, the movie folders/files are being read and displayed
within the SMB share screen. The problem is opening them! None or very
little precache. Have had one movie file open for literally 5 seconds
before returning back to file list or SMB share list. All others remain at
MPlayer splash and no text being shown.
