Create a utility to inspect ROM XML to verify ROM paths and CRCs of ROMs.
There is already basic existence / modification checking. However, there are circumstances that can cause 'drift' between what is stored in ROMs.xml and what is on disk:
ROM is part of an active development project, changing with rebuild
ROMs.xml was manually edited (maliciously or by accident)
A .bin-format ROM's .cfg file changed in some way
Ergo - the ability to analyze and repair discrepancies would be useful, if only to turn off the warnings in the ROMs list about changes to the ROM(s) having occurred.
