In the current version of Zenodo, if I want to link my publication to an event, I am asked to fill in this form:
Especially if each speaker uploads their own contribution, you will most likely end up with data which is not consistent (e.g. conference title written wrong...).

I would like to have a way to point to an (Indico) event. Or at least to prefill this info based on an Indico URL. Indico metadata can be obtained in two ways:
As you probably know, there is a Conference PID working group discussing proper PIDs for events since already since a couple of years and work is being done in that regard. Once there is a standard, that could be another option. Still, there is already a wealth of information available from the 250+ Indico servers currently online, which could be used at least to pre-fill the information in that form.
