Some discussion[FR] raised the question for group admins to have the possibility to modify group lists. Today, lists are specific to each user, and not managed by the group.
The concern raised in the discussion could be addressed by either:
give admins (or every members) rights to modify groups visibility on some lists,
better inform admins that lists are only manageable by the creator user of the list,
enable groups to have their own lists and without any user's lists (enabled from the group settings).
While i tend to favor the last solution (since list curation would not rely on individuals but on group entirely), i do understand its a long re-architecture work.
The first solution, would empower too much admins over group's member, imo. Since they could then "censor" the lists they don't want to see.
For the moment, I would be more in favor of leaving it to the admins to ask the members in question to modify the list visibility ie. having a feature such as a button saying "Contact the creator of this list to ask them to remove/change the list visibility". Or simply redirect to a wiki article which would explain why group admins cannot to modify lists.
