[This is a feedback from PSES2023] After scanning their books and making them available to lending, a user have dropped the idea of checking inventaire for a while. Then, several months later, they checked their account and found out several people have asked to borrow some books but the user had no idea since they have not been notified by email (today the default setting is to not have email notification).
The user in question have suggested to have a checkbox during sign up to activate (or not) email notifications. Which seemed to me a balanced suggestion between privacy and being warned when something happen.
