'PROF TO' small font displays too frequently on the FMA
Expected behaviour
There are very limited situations when a 'PROF TO' altitude is displayed. In fact, the only time I see them is when holding an altitude and a lower altitude is entered in the FCP prior to the T/D.
Example:
Cruise alt of 370, FCP alt of 10000, in climb, FMA reads CLIMB 10000 and PROF TO 37000. Should just read CLIMB 10000.
When approaching T/D for a STAR, entering in the bottom altitude correctly displays HOLD [CRUISE], and PROF TO [bottom alt set in FCP]. Once commencing the descent, the large font alt changes with subsequent stepdown at/above while the small font 'PROF TO' remains and switches with various base altitudes. This should not occur. Once T/D is reached and the aircraft begins a PROF descent, PROF TO small font should disappear entirely. Large font should say PROF and the bottom altitude selected in the FCP. Subsequent stepdown targets are identified at the bottom of the altitude tape and change as required.
