When in manual flight, if the current selected altitude is capture and HOLD is annunciated, and then you deviate away from the selected altitude, the PFD Altitude Control Window will change and track your current altitude, much in the same way as the heading bug tracks your current heading when in manual flight with Flight Directors off. Is this correct behaviour.
Steps to reproduce
At 3000ft, select 4000ft on the FCP and disconnect the autopilot and flight directors and climb to 4000ft. You should see HOLD annunciated in the Altitude Window of the PFD. Then deviate from the altitude and note the 4000ft number start to change to your current altitude.
Expected behaviour
That the altitude set in the FCP would remain set.
