Whilst attempting to fly an ILS approach to Runway 24 at EGLF, the autoflight system was absolutely determined to intercept an entirely incorrect course.
Steps to reproduce
Spawn on runway 24 at EGLF and select the 'ready to fly' panel state.
Via the MCP, set 3,500 feet and 242 degrees and a meaningful speed.
Depart and engage autoflight
When airbourne, in the NAV?RAD page, input 111.55 in the ILS frequency and enter this in LSK 5L
THEN input the correct course (242) into LSK 5L in the format '/242'
Self position for the ILS using headings
When the LOC 'needlle' becomes active, hit APPR/LAND
The aircraft began to bank hard left, away from the localiser (when closing from the south). I repositioned manually and attempted the same establishment, this time going so far as to be on the inbound track and 'established'. The aircraft again began to turn left away. I verified that the course was input correctly.
If I had to guess, the updated course which I input was not respected and the aircraft was trying to establish on the course for the 06 instead.
Expected behaviour
Well I'd like to establish on the LOC on the course I input!
