My comment from previous issue stands without alterations

Check out our CI runs, they prove successful compilation for what it's worth

@mikehardy where to check your CI runs? Please provide me link if possible

But I warn you, they're boring. The compile works. You have mismatched firebase-android-sdk vs react-native-firebase and you'll need to fix it somehow

I'm going to close this, it is not a react-native-firebase problem and you'll have to find why firebase-android-sdk is out of date in your local project and update it. It needs to be higher than v26, current is v26.4.0.
