Are you interested in contributors/maintainers to release new versions and incorporate the feedback in this repo?

Following up on this. I did reach @invl in September of last year and they merged the changes up to that point. They were concerned about adding new contributors or giving access to the project in pypi for security reasons, so they will still need to do any future releases.
