Moved SharedPreferences.getInstance() in main outside isDesktopOS() check
Update _initialState method to take in prefs and use the passed prefs instead of initializing it again to get an instance

@hillelcoren Please do have a look, Its a minor change but will remove unnecessarily awaiting to get instance of shared_pref again
