FYI.. this feature was recently implemented in the desktop/mobile app, it will be included with the next release.
@n1smithy did you want to copy the line item into "memory" and then transfer this to another invoice? I'm trying to imagine the UX for transferring a single line item into another document.

Well, that would be an awesome feature, too! Or – to bring it to the top – if you edit an existing product in a quote or an invoice that there will be a dialogue about saving this product as a customer-related special item or something.
Because of my humpy English, let me make a sample:
I'm an IT-specialist and I also drive to my customers. The customers have to pay for the travel-costs. But those differ from customer to customer. And for some customers I invoice travel costs by a calculated distance, so those have unique costs to be invoiced. But it's not very handy to always calculate the costs; it would be cool if once I changed my "product-template" for one custumer Invoice Ninja offers an option to save this special version of the article for common use with (only) this customer.
Oh, I hope, you can understand what I'm trying to say.
It would be great if one could copy a product- or time-table-line just within the edited invoice, quote etc.
For example:
I offer a customized computer with 24 months of warrenty. This one costs 500 €. So I didn't create this computer as a product; I just wrote the needed lines ad-hocly into the quote.
As an alternative offering I want to sell the same customized computer but with 60 months of warrenty. That costs about 650 €. By copying the line I'll have every needed cell at once, and now I can edit those ones I need to.
Wouldn't that be great? :-D
