i am considering this one just wondering if we are on the same page so my idea was :
Are we on the same page or did you expect something else ?
Here there is already a bridge which emulates the hue bridge https://github.com/bwssytems/ha-bridge
And yes what you described im looking for... Maybe I'm going to install the ha-bridge or home assistant temporarily :) until there is an adapter for iobroker.
i am considering this one just wondering if we are on the same page so my idea was :
- build somehow an adapter which emulates the hue bridge
- ensure states would be automatically embedded to the bridge emulator allowing states in ioBroker to be controller by any app/device which supports HUE bridge
- channels should be created automatically based on ioBroker information
Are we on the same page or did you expect something else ?
We definitely are :) Sorry, for the late response...
Any news for this request?
not yet but winter is coming, the need got a little lower by release of IQcontrol which is an great alternative, still integration in native Hue apps would e interesting
IQcontrol or IQontrol?
IQcontrol or IQontrol?
IQontrol
Hi. I was also looking for a hue emulation software and tested ha-bridge, openhab hue emulation, node-red plugins etc. I tried to use it via Amazon Echo (1 and 3 gen) and to integrate it in Bosch Smart Home. All had some disadvantages:
I did not get why so I created a new repo: https://github.com/holomekc/hue-emu
And after it was working fine for me I created the adapter for ioBroker: https://github.com/holomekc/ioBroker.hueemu
This is all in a very early stage. I am not sure if it will work for all integrations. E.g. Echo gen 1 totally behaves differently then gen 3. I used the information from the other hue emulations and the official api.
You can test it by installing it via github (also not tested. I packed the app locally and installed it that way) Feedback is always appreciated. Especially for the light creation. I tried to describe it in the Readme. I hope this helps.
Repo stalled since app. 3 years Asked for ciurrent state.
Hi, please consider a "Philips Hue Emulation Adapter". The adapter should emulate a Hue Bridge.
The solution could be leaned on the already implemented OpenHAB Hue Emulation Service: https://docs.openhab.org/addons/ios/hueemulation/readme.html
