First of all, I wanted to let you know that I really admire your work with the iobio project, particularly with gene.iobio. I try to spread it's use as much as I can.
Now, I was wandering, would it be possible to set up a local version of the apps (bam, vcf and gene.iobio)? That would be really amazing and I would really appreciate any help/hint on it.
Regarding taxonomer.iobio, I'm unable to make it work using any of the examples. It just stays loading the data forever. I've tried using both Chrome and Firefox. It happened to me once with gene.iobio at a school that their proxy was somehow interfering with the webapp, and after asking them to allow my computer unrestricted access to internet it worked just fine. Now, I'm behind a university firewall, but all the other apps (bam, vcf and gene) are working properly except taxonomer. Any idea what could it be happening?
Another question about taxonomer, would it work using MinION reads?
