The US MBON community would like to use this portal as a mechanism to inform the community of past, present, and future data collection.
For future monitoring activities, other than adding that level of information into the abstract of a metadata record, it would be useful to have a mechanism indicate if the monitoring activity is planned, completed, or active (or maybe just planned is enough?).
I could be something similar to the data availability toggle:
