since IOC is the custodian agency for OA under SDG14, OBIS should look at capturing these kind of data in OBIS-ENV-DATA format: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-017-03934-z#supplementary-information

Philip Goldstein and I worked with Nina Bednarsek back in Feb 2015. Mostly though she was interested in getting any pteropod data out of OBIS and we didn't get very far with bringing her data into OBIS. I can try to reach out to her again.
