Can teh Caff ipt be registered as AntOBIS at least?
The CAFF IPT will be registered as Arctic OBIS

Nicolas CAFF is not the same as AntOBIS but would say for CAFF Arctic OBIS is a good solution.
For me it would be more logic to have a solution at the dataset level. Network seems like a good start but would need to be more usable than having to contact GBIF.
So to keep track of our solution our IPT is hosted by AntaBIF (Antarctic Biodiversity Information Facility) which is endorsed by SCAR. Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research. The goal is to have AntaBIF as a publishing organisation for terrestrial dataset endorsed by SCAR and AntOBIS as a publishing organisation for marine datasets endorsed by OBIS.
Currently OBIS nodes endorsed by iOBIS are listed as Endorsed Publishers here http://www.gbif.org/node/ba0670b9-4186-41e6-8e70-f9cb3065551a.
Q1: Can we agree that the institute name includes the acronym of the OBIS node?
However, some OBIS nodes (like CAFF = Arctic OBIS node or AntOBIS) are not endorsed by iOBIS and hence are not listed under OBIS. CAFF: http://www.gbif.org/publisher/44862593-2fdd-4491-ab79-b500b8272aac ANTOBIS: http://www.gbif.org/publisher/fb10a11f-4417-41c8-be6a-13a5c8535122
There is currently no solution to list all OBIS nodes under OBIS on GBIF.ORG
However, it is possible to indicate the network at dataset level, although currently this is only possible by informing the GBIF helpdesk. Currently 183 datasets belong to the OBIS network: http://www.gbif.org/network/2b7c7b4f-4d4f-40d3-94de-c28b6fa054a6
