Describe the bug
2FA ist not support yet from the Adapter. But 2FA will be required in July 2024 -- > https://community.ui.com/questions/Upcoming-Multi-Factor-Authentication-MFA-Requirement-for-All-UI-Accounts-in-July-2024/e0d06d3c-c0ae-4af6-aa67-53c159d486a8

Sorry, but I read that like 2FA will be required for the Ubiquiti cloud accounts. Local accounts on your UDM pro or other UniFi like controller will not be affected by that.

jkl2e commented 4 months ago

Multi-Factor Authentication will be mandated for all Ubiquiti Accounts.

I can't find any information about local accounts.

That's the point: "Ubiquiti Accounts" == Cloud accounts required to login in ui.com website (thus 2FA required by July 2024) "Local accounts" == Local accounts you can add to a UDMpro or UniFi Controller yourself (no 2FA required also not in future).

Thus, no real issue since you should anyway use a local account for ioBroker.unifi.

Ok, thanks for your explanation.

As jens said iobroker.unifi is connecting local to the unifi controller, not to the cloud. Also i did not found an option for 2fa on local accounts.
