Fixes and improvements in 1980s index.html files #2279

A point of interest is that in 1987 the README.md referred to Mark R Horton but it is now Mary Ann Horton so I changed it to that. Also as she has won I linked to not the Amazon author page but rather the authors.html link. It's important to note though that the author page on Amazon says Mark still, perhaps because that is how the book was published (I guess - I didn't look). Still it seems right to change it to how she identifies, rather than not.

Links were added for entries where referred to. Links were added to results where not linked to. It is unclear if links to USENET groups should be kept (besides the ones where the direct posts are known) or removed so I have not added any that have missing links even those that were already in other README.md files.

What remains to be done for the 1980s README.md files depends on whether the USENET group links that are there should be removed or if those missing should be added.

The rendered html files were tested on my web server and all appears okay.

Like I said in the issue page I will be doing other things now and might not return until tomorrow. That remains to be seen but it might even be better to hold off until I get some answers so that I don't have to go back to the 1980s after starting the 1990s and since I have other things to do I might as well do those now when waiting.

So I think that I will hold off until tomorrow and when I do work on it tomorrow I will start off with the 1980s questions/concerns. Of course I still have to look at other html files but I want to look at the YYYY/index.html files first before I do those others.

Ah yes .. the 80s. The day of cassettes, VHS, floppy disks and many other things that so many people don't even know about. Oh and very little space in HDDs - for computers that even had them! That's certainly not something I miss although I still have a 2.5GB and 528MB (or whatever that barrier was .. it's not coming to my mind right now but it was somewhere in that neighbourhood) HDDs.

You are most welcome. I'll make the adjustments we have been discussing - tomorrow. Have a great day!

I like to tell younger people that I have computer artefacts that are older than they are - and that the dust on them is also older than them! That's always fun.
