On the tails of our DSIG 1500 UTC call (@SnaggyD @kevin-obrien @davidcurrie2001 @CorinneBassin-SOI @LDemargne)

Create a statement to develop the idea of niches within the digital ecosystem and that implementers should find theirs, thinking carefully about scope and interoperation/exchange

e.g. note niches for data brokers to do conversions between data creators, aggregators, etc - until full data space capability is achieved

Capture roles of standards organisations and juxtapose these with innovation in science / private sector (e.g. iFDOs and IIIF)
