JSON-LD Pattern for Protected Areas

Likely a subclass of the Spatial Pattern. Here's a start!

Suggested high level attributes:

Types of potential area IDs:

• Management Authority area ID
• National area ID
• IUCN WDPA ID
• ProtectedSeas Navigator ID

Common Information:

• Area Name
• Area Type (MPA, OECM, Tribal/Indigenous, LMMA)
• Area Management Authority (ie Nation Park Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, ...)
• Area Management Authority Type (National, Subnational, Local, Tribal/Indigenous, ...)
• Area Sub-National Unit
• Area National Unit (ie National, Subnational, Community/Local, Tribal, ...)
• Area Designation (National Park, State Marine Reserve, Marine Sanctuary, ...)
• Area Website
• Year of Establishment

Spatial Characteristics:

• Coastal (yes / no)
• Terrestrial component (yes / no)
• Spatial area w/ units

Regulatory Characteristics:

• IUCN Classification (https://portals.iucn.org/library/sites/library/files/documents/pag-021.pdf)
• No-Take Area (yes / no)
• Restricted-Take Area (yes / no)
• Regulation Citation(s)
• Stage of Establishment (suggest we use MPA Guide definitions -- https://mpa-guide.protectedplanet.net/MPAGuide_Expanded%20Guidance%20-%20Stage%20of%20Establishment_website.pdf)
• Counted for 30 x 30 (yes / no) w/ citation

Regulated Activities:

• Suggest we look at MPA Guide, RBCS, ProtectedSeas lists, but perhaps define fairly open ended
• Pattern - something like: Type: Regulated Activity, Activity: Bottom Trawl Fishing, Status: Prohibited
• Values for each activity = Allowed, Restricted, Prohibited, Unknown, N/A

Protection Level Assessments:

• Type of Assessment (MPA Guide, RBCS, ProtectedSeas LFP, Other)

@vzett I fixed the formatting error in the file protectedAreaData.json in the branch 101-json-ld-pattern-for-protected-areas. (but now when trying to validate it fails on line 16 "@type": "InteractiveMap"
