Hi there, I work for OceanOPS/GOOS/WMO as technical coordinator for the Argo program.

OceanOPS is delivering routinely, metadata to the OSCAR system. OSCAR is the WIGOS Monitoring tool used by WMO to monitor earth observations, including ocean. See OSCAR. Information related to the Ocean (green dots) are provided by OceanOPS following the requierments of WIGOS. The format to transfer information is xml. I will share with you a file to show you what we do.

I have suggested to Argo Steering Team that following this work we are doing for OSCAR/WIGOS/WMO we could the similar work for ODIS/GOOS. This is exactly our mandate and we have some kind of experience with this tasks.

In fact I can not share this file as it is produced and grab by WMO through our API. There is not physical copy of this file available.

@vturpin to clarify: we have been meeting with the Argo technical team throughout the year, and have been working on connecting ArgoVis as a node in ODIS. I am not sure how your messages fit into this ticket, which was created to track our work with the Argo team. Maybe I should open a new ticket, to discuss adding your OSCAR system as an ODIS node? Either way, that discussion should not be in this ticket, it should be in a new ticket.
