Hi @jmckenna & @fils,
I created a Quarto notebook in our CalCOFI/workflows repo to generate the datasets sitemap.xml
from this Google Sheet Living program document: CalCOFI Data Inventory that @evsatt put together:
So far, just for ERDDAP and EDI repositories (n_datasets= 77): repo |
n_datasets |
---|---|
EDI | 53 |
ERRDAP - oceanview | 3 |
ERRDAP-coastwatch | 21 |
lastmod
to dataset's last modified datethanks @bbest. Please also add to your tasklist: "create an ODISCat entry" (and point to the sitemap there) See steps at https://book.odis.org/gettingStarted.html We'll be driving the connection through that entry (to find your sitemap etc)
Hi @jmckenna & @fils,
I just submitted the ODISCat entry here:
All the steps to generate the spatialCoverage are detailed in the new section 5 Create an ODISCat entry of this CalCOFI/workflow:
And here's the other related technical conversation on Github:
Look forward to chatting later!
thanks @bbest & team, I have updated the ODIS Book to include a spatialCoverage with a box example (such as at https://book.odis.org/thematics/dataset/index.html ).
(related to recent updates through https://github.com/CalCOFI/workflows/issues/24 )
@bbest can you make a minor change to your ODISCat entry? The Datasource URL
should point to your catalogue home, not to the sitemap.

Thanks @jmckenna! I was wondering about that when I first entered it. Ok, I just updated Datasource URL
to https://calcofi.org.
