There has been confusion about what ION is and what it isn't, and even though many individuals may disagree on what ION is, that doesn't change the reality that we are stronger as a community if we remember the things that unite us and the strengths and beliefs that bind us.
I'm going to share what ION is to me... and I would hope many follow me in doing so.
ION is more than a digital currency, it represents endless possibilities for the human spirit and condition. Since the dawn of time man has tried to rule and take advantage of weaker men, and even in modern times this still rings true. Today's oppression is primarily in the form of economic access and economic liberty, ION is one of the many currencies that represent economic liberty in the form of digital currency. ION is permissionless and open for all, its inclusive nature is part of what makes it great, its mere existence helps ensure equality at the most basic human level.
ION was built not just for individuals, but also for corporations to use and leverage. It has been designed to cater to all sorts of industries and built-in ways that make it easy to maximize its capabilities with little upfront costs to do so, and hopefully, we can expand on these functions and continue to make it a powerful tool for any and all groups who want to use/ leverage it.
ION is more than a digital currency, it can represent hope, fun, and freedom for many people. It's important we don't forget why many of us found our way to crypto and how the endless possibilities are still available to us if we just work together step by step building and continue building things with meaning and value.
ION's future is bright. I look forward to helping to make it even brighter, together.
