This is a feature request for the ability to automatically promote from "beta" or "Staging" channels to production after some period of time (obviously with the ability to cancel the promotion before it occurs).
For as long I have used "early access" releases for my apps, I have always had a problem when a release goes smoothly: we don't remember to promote it to production! When you have fix 20 bugs first of course you remember (and would remember to stop it from being promoted).
This is what I have in mind is this:
Deploy a snapshot to "staging", and set either a date or a number of days before it automatically is deployed to "production".
If another snapshot is deployed to staging, the first one is abandoned and would not be promoted.
A UI would be needed to cancel/postpone the promotion if we decide we need more time.
An email reminder 24 hours before the promotion would be nice also.
