Hi! For provisioning servers, currently "ENTERPRISE" server type is used. You can find the relevant documentation of the underlying API call for server creation here: https://api.ionos.com/docs/cloud/v6/#tag/Servers/operation/datacentersServersPost
To answer your question, no, currently Cube server provisioning is not supported.
Thanks @avirtopeanu-ionos for the fast response. As the API supports the creation of Cloud Cubes, do you think it's reasonable to allow creating Cubes with this driver?
We'll have to investigate if there are any compatibility issues and we'll come back with an answer -- but yes, supporting Cubes would definitely be a good improvement.
Hi! We added CUBE server support in release v6.1.0
Use-cases
More a question (with a following feature request depending on the answer) – does the Driver support the usage of the Cloud Cubes (https://cloud.ionos.de/compute/cloud-cubes) or only the dedicated (non-overprovisioned) Compute Engines?
