Touch screen controls need tinkering #11

Samsung Galaxy S II with Gingerbread 2.3.5

It seems like the dpad refuses to accept any kind of input that is outside the
visible dpad area. This can make the controls a bit awkward without making the
dpad overly invasive of the screen. I'm not sure how Gensoid did it but I had
no issues with the dpad controls from that - that would be a great example of
how the controls should be.

Excellent emulator though. Framerate and sound is perfect, and I have since
Uninstalled Gensoid. I would say only the controls need to be tweaked a bit.

The dpad does feel a little off at times. You can resize it in the touch input
config (touch and hold) which helps a bit. However I realize this isn't the
ideal solution. The hit box should be a little larger than the image, help
user accuracy.

Is this still a problem in the most recent update?

Soon I'll be transitioning all emus touch dpad to a more analog feel.

When I touch a button other buttons are triggered even when I put them away
from each other. It seems a precision issue. Calibrating touch areas instead of
dragging and resizing buttons would be good.
