Start touch button falls bellow bottom of screen on nexus 7 #39

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any ROM while set to landscape mode.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Start button should be visible, it's not. Cannot see button to move it on touch
button setup either.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V1.93 OS jellybean

Please provide any additional information below.

Start button is visible while ROMs are set to run in portrait, perhaps allowing
touch screen controls to be altered in portrait would solve the issue.

Will be fixed next release. Also adding proper support for portrait mode.

Temporary fix might be to "Reset Input" in Settings AFTER loading a rom.

Same on my nexus 7. Reset after starting does not fix the problem.

I'm not seeing start button in either landscape or portrait mode on nexus 7.
Your SNES emu works awesome :-)

Untick the "maintain aspect ratio" box first then you might need to reset touch
controls.

This is fixed in an update which is about a week away for release. For the
time being if you browse on your phone to the GenPlusDroid folder there should
exist a file 'config.xml'. You can modify the absolute x,y position of each on
screen button there. Modify the start button so it appears in the center of
the screen. Then go to the emulator settings -> touch screen input and you
should be able to move it to wherever.
