Dataset Title

OOI Passive acoustic detections of marine mammals & biodiversity indices

Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.

This data contains a month of processed data that was reviewed for the occurrence of signals from marine mammals collected from a hydrophone at 80m depth on the shelf off of Newport, Oregon on the Ocean Observatories Initiative's Coastal Endurance Array. Data were processed using PAMGuard and as such the folder below contains binary folders and sqlite databases from the processing, as well as the extracted acoustic event summary tables. As part of a project, this data was used to calculate acoustic-based biodiversity indices and as such we included an output csv with this data (which may or may not be able to be imported. Raw audio or example clips available should that be what is expected of the import into OBIS. I am not familiar with the process and thus the expected data types/formats.

Thank you for identifying this dataset for mobilization. The workshop hosts wanted to check in. Is there anything you need help with in order to mobilize this dataset to OBIS? If you would like assistance from an OBIS node you can find node contacts listed here.

Hi there, my apologies for the delay! I actually got pretty far with this and just need to finalize so will plan to do that in the next few weeks, thanks so much for the reminder! - Liz
