Indian Ocean Regional Tuna Tagging Programme

Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.

The dataset contains data of ~160,000 tropical tunas caught with pole and line, tagged with a plastic (dart) tag, and released at sea. by the Indian Ocean Regional Tuna Tagging Programme (RTTP) The tagging operations were conducted by well-trained scientists to ensure correct species identification. The data provides date and position mark and recapture, as size measurements (fork length) of each individual.

Raw data are inputted in an access database

The files of tags and recoveries are TXT files, data are imputted in an MS access database
